Bournemouth Nightlife
Bournemouth nightclubs and bar offers visitors a lively party night out, with a good range of friendly and atmospheric party bars and venues. In addition to the venues listed here, there are plenty of other smaller pubs and bars around the resort that are also well worth a visit.
Bliss
Located in the centre of Bournemouth next door to its sister venue ‘Toko’, Bliss is one of the resorts larger bar and nightclub venues. With a dance floor on the ground floor and bar and lounge area upstairs for those wishing to mingle and chat, Bliss is worth a visit.
Toko
Toko is one of Bournemouth’s nightlife landmarks and is a popular venue on weekdays as well as weekends. As with ‘Bliss’, it has a dance floor on downstairs with another bar and seating area upstairs, although the interior of Toko has a more exclusive feel than that of its sister venue. Toko is well worth a visit on any Bournemouth nightout!
Bar Me
Bar Me has a real party atmosphere with resident DJs throughout the week Keep an eye out for the girls working the poles, on the bar and on the prowl. With fancy dress a plenty, ice fights and bar walks you won't be disappointed. With no pomp or pretense, Bar Me welcomes almost anyone who’s up for a good time.
Lava & Ignite
Bournemouth’s biggest and best nightclub, Lava and Ignite (Formerly ‘Elements’) is located right in the centre of town and has a great atmosphere with 3 rooms playing different and varied music.
Walkabout
Part of the popular Aussie chain of bars/nightclubs, the Walkabout bar is popular right through the week and frequented by tourists, students and locals alike. Walkabout plays a wide variety of music including R&B, Dance and many popular classics. It’s a good place to just hang out or watch some sport on the large screens. Located on Old Christchurch Road in the town centre.
Litten Tree
Another of Bournemouth’s Old Christchurch Road nightlife venues, the Litten Tree is popular during the week and at weekends. With large TV screens, food available and a wide selection of beers, this is a good venue to include on any crawl along Old Christchurch Road.
Brasshouse
Centrally located, this huge bar venue plays a wide mix off music and often features guest DJ’s. Lively and not as pricey as some other major Bournemouth bars.
